If you are looking for accommodation that is downtown Fernie, small, quiet and peaceful then The Old Nurses Residence will give you a great experience.
All the guest rooms are upstairs. Common areas include the living room, dining room and veranda where we welcome our guests to enjoy these areas with other guests.
Tourism British Columbia Approved Accommodation.
Kitchen access available with full fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans. Laundry access available to washer and dryer.
We have coffee or tea (self-serve) with daily rates to greet your morning for your enjoyment with other guests
in our common areas. We also provide a fridge to be shared by guests in the common area. With our central downtown location, we are only a few minutes walk
for you to enjoy breakfast, lunch and supper in Fernie's many cafes and restaurants. We no longer server breakfast.

The Buttercup, Hatbox and Matrons rooms have their own on-suite bathrooms.
The Forgetmenot & Rose Rooms or Family Suite share a common bathroom. The Rose & ForgetMeNot share one bathroom
that has our 7 foot claw foot tub (build 1880) and shower. The Forgetmenot & Rose Rooms or Family Suite can be booked seperately.
Additional information
- (Rate + 5% GST + 7% PST + 3% MRDT = 15% Tax) is added to all room rates on invoicing
- (No tax on stays of 28 days or longer as it is considered long term rental)
- Inquire about available discounts.
- Visa / Mastercard and Debit Card are accepted on AirBnB reservatoins
- Website / phone-in reservations payments are cash or eTransfer or credit cards through Square. eTransfer Deposit requested to hold rooom.
- Minimum cancellation notice is 14 days. If your reservation cancelation request is less than 14 days,
no cancellation or refund will be issued as it was a gauranteed reservation.
If we are able to rent your guaranteed reserved room, we will issue a refund.
